Here's a nice looking RZM piece! The blade on this one looks excellent! The acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "RZM M7/49" (Friedrich Herder A.S., Solingen) maker mark are both, crisp and beautifully executed! The cross-guard is stunning as it shines against the light. The tip comes to a perfectly sharp point and the fit remains nice and tight. It shows the common runner marks and minor age greying. The steel based, brown enamel painted scabbard looks great. It continues to hold a great deal of its original paint. The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard fittings look great. As shown in images slight damage to drop ball on end of sheath. The scabbard/cross-guard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The alloy based, nickel-silver plated cross-guards are in good shape. They show the common plating loss towards the grip yet continue to retain most of its coverage. The brown hardwood grip looks wonderful! It shows minimal pressure marks yet no cracks, chips or flakes. The aluminum eagle shows beautiful detail and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel is in great shape and also has a perfect fit. A great looking SA dagger!
